Access to Mobile Health Lacking

March 5th, 2017

A recent study indicates that consumers who desire digital  health and telehealth services are often unable to obtain them.  According to the cited poll, 77% of patients would like to have a digital health platform and 70% would like to have telemedicine available for minor medical issues.  These numbers are staggering – 3/4 of those polled would like to participate in the digital health revolution and can’t!  The clear implication of these data is that digital and telehealth provisions will continue to be in high demand and perhaps indicates that the medical market place and delivery of health care will be transformed faster than anticipated.
