The data is in and it is very scary… People are petrified to seek in person medical care bc of COVID fears. The results are predictable – higher mortality despite lower incidence. We recently had a patient call in our routine, non-emergent physician line with an active heart attack (MI)!
Consider myself to fortunate to be part of the future of healthcare, but Telemedicine must continue to be encouraged to improve healthcare outcomes and save lives!!!
